WHAT IS THE BEST CHOICE FOR SHIPPING MY SHRINKY DINKS ORDER? Shipping and Handling costs are calculated by weight. So shipping will vary depending on what you order and how you would like it shipped. Below are our recommendations.  PLEASE NOTE:  Any misinformation in a shipping address entered by customers that results in additional charges from UPS will automatically be deducted from the authorized charge card.  Please double check all shipping information carefully. UPS GROUND - Provides a tracking number so that you can track the location of your package if there is a delay in transport or if UPS misroutes the package. UPS is generally more costly than Priority Mail if you are ordering just a package or two of our Shrinky Dinks. We recommend using UPS if you want a tracking number or if you are ordering more than 3 or 4 small items. If you are ordering a heavy package such as our D100-2B (which weighs 7 pounds) UPS is your best choice. The heavier the package the more cost effective UPS is. Ground delivery is usually 4 to 5 business days not including the day of shipment. PRIORITY MAIL  US Postal Service - Provides a Delivery Confirmation number and is the most cost effective method when shipping one, two or three light items or up to 6 packs of Shrinky Dinks plastic. For estimated shipping times, call your local Post Office and check the transport time from our zip code 53064 to yours. They will be able to give you a more exact transit time. Of course all transit times are slowed during the Christmas Season, so please plan your shipments accordingly. UPS 3 DAY - Provides a tracking number just like UPS Ground, and your package is delivered in 3 business days, not including the day of shipment. Guaranteed service by UPS. UPS 2 DAY - Provides a tracking number like the other UPS services and your package is delivered in 2 business days, not including the day of shipment. Guaranteed service by UPS. UPS NEXT DAY - This service provides a tracking number like other UPS services and your package will be delivered the next business day after the shipment leaves our facility. This is a guaranteed service by UPS. FIRST CLASS MAIL - We have had inquiries asking why we do not offer regular US First Class Mail as one of our shipping options. The answer is that First Class is an option for 15 ounces or less. A one pound package must go Priority Mail. Most of what we offer weighs more than 15 ounces so First Class is not a viable option for most of our customers.  Of course, special phone requests will be honored. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: We recommend that our customers choose the US Postal Service (USPS) for delivery of International packages.  UPS will charge what they call a “BROKERAGE FEE”,  for looking after your package from our boarder to delivery point.  This is over and above what they charge for usual delivery.  We have no control over this fee. We are very happy to manually figure out the most cost effective delivery method for your prior to shipping your order if you call us 800-445-7448.
