1.
Place Shrinky Dinks plastic over the pattern and tape into place. First, use the permanent markers to color in all the areas with your choice of colors. Second, use a BLACK marker to outline the areas that you have colored and add black detail to each bug. |

Cutout the bug and punch a hole at the top where indicated. Bake to shrink according to package instructions. Allow your piece to cool. |
3. Cut a piece of foam pad large enough to hold the Blinky to the back of your Shrinky Dinks bug. Leave enough space around the edge of the Blinky so that all the lights are visible.
Tip: When attaching the sticky pad to the star, use the hole punch to make a hole in the center of your foam pad so that the center light of the star still shines through. Attach the foam pad to the center front of the Blinky, and then to the back of your Shrinky Dinks bug. |

4. Put the jump ring into the hole and thread your color choice of noodle cord through the jump ring. Secure the two ends of the noodle cord with the included connectors. |
