Materials Needed Ø Shrinky Dinks Sunshine Yellow shrinkable plastic (Item D400-6A) Ø Traceable project pattern Ø Identipen Permanent Black Ink Pen (Item D835) Ø Permapaque Paint Markers (Item SAKFINE) Ø Small piece of feather Ø 2 Inch piece of self-adhesive magnet (Item D850) Ø Scissors, Tape, Glue, Home Oven or Toaster Oven How to Make Step 1 – Print the traceable pattern of the chick and the eye designs. Step 2 – Lay the sheet of Yellow Shrinky Dinks plastic over the pattern and tape into place. Step 3 – Trace the outline of the chick with the black permanent pen. Choose your eye pattern and lay the traced chick pattern over the eyes you have chosen. Tape into place and trace the eyes. Step 4 – Use the Permapaque Paint Pens to color the eyes, beak, toes and write your message. Step 5 – Cut out the chick pattern just outside the black tracing line. Step 6 – Bake to shrink according to package instructions…allow your piece to cool completely. Step 7 – Place a small amount of glue near the top of the chicks head and apply the feather piece. Let Dry Step 8 – Place the magnet strip on the back of the Chick. |
