Materials Needed Ø Shrinky Dinks Ultra Thick Misty White shrinkable plastic - (Item D700-6A) Ø Traceable project pattern Ø Identipen Permanent Black Ink Pen (Item D835) Ø Permapaque Paint Markers by Sakura (Item SAKFINE) Ø ¼” Hole Punch (Item D842) Ø Heavy Twine, Wire or String (to fasten the tag to the pets collar) Ø Tape, Scissors, Home Oven or Toaster Oven How to Make Step 1 – Print the traceable pattern of the pet tags. Step 2 – Lay the Shrinky Dinks sheet over your chosen pattern and tape into place. Step 3 – Color the image with your choice of colors using the Permapaque Paint Pens. Step 4 – Trace the detail lines and enter identifying information for your pet...phone number, your name, pets name, address, email, etc. Don’t forget, you can also use the back of the tag for listing more information. The information will not be visible from the opposite side once the tag has been shrunk. Step 5 – Punch a hole where indicated on the pattern. Step 6 – Cut out the pet tag pattern just outside the black tracing line. Step 7 – Bake to shrink according to package instructions…allow your piece to cool completely. Step 8 – Secure the tag to your pets collar. Using something flexible will more more comfortable for your pet. A hard key ring may cause your tag to crack. |
